Morally Responsible Investing
Morally responsible investing ("MRI") is investing according to your values. It screens out companies from portfolios to align with the belief system of an investor. For example, MRI screens out companies engaged in abortion (or contributing corporate funds to Planned Parenthood), companies engaged in embryonic stem cell research, and producers and distributors of pornography (including media, hotels, retail, internet and cable providers). MRI is both pro-life and pro-family and may appeal to investors with similar ideals. While some may feel that MRI screens would eliminate a large number of companies from investment consideration, in fact the vast majority of companies may still be considered for investment in a portfolio. We believe in MRI investing and feel it is worth your consideration.
